From Vancouver:
You will take the Horseshoe Bay BC Ferry to Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. You will drive north along the Island Highway. After 20-30 minutes you will come to EXIT # 60. You will turn on EXIT # 60 onto Highway 4 to Tofino and the Pacific Rim National Park. Highway # 4 turns into Campbell Street. You will drive to the second 4-way stop (red blinking stop light) come one more block to the end of Campbell Street. Duffin is located 215 Campbell St. at the very end of the road on the Pacific Ocean. Total travel time is 5-hours approximately.
From Victoria:
Upon Leaving Victoria you will drive north on the Trans Canada Highway #1. You will drive past Nanaimo where the highway turns into Hwy # 19. You will continue to drive north along the Island Highway and after 20-30 minutes you will come to EXIT # 60. You will turn EXIT # 60 onto Highway 4 to Tofino and the Pacific Rim National Park. Highway # 4 turns into Campbell Street. You will drive to the second 4-way stop (red blinking stop light) come one more block to the end of Campbell Street. Duffin is located 215 Campbell St. at the very end of the road on the Pacific Ocean. Total travel time is 4 ˝ to 5-hours approximately.
From Nanaimo:
Travel north on Highway 19 for 43 km (26 miles), Take Exit 60 onto Highway 4 (also known as the Pacific Rim Highway) heading west for 156 km (97 miles). You will drive through spectacular Cathedral Grove, historic Port Alberni (drive straight downhill and turn right at the junction), and on the winding road around Sproat and Kennedy Lakes. You will also drive through scenic Sutton Pass, at an altitude of 175 meters) - where we especially recommend heeding to the speed limit. Travel westward until you come to the junction between Tofino and Ucluelet.
Turn right at the Tofino/Ucluelet junction and drive north towards Tofino for 28 km (17 miles) continue right through the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve toward Tofino. Drive strait through Tofino without turning anywhere and the Duffin Cove Resort is located at 215 Campbell St., the very end of the road at the very tip of the peninsula. (Any further and you would be in the ocean.)
From Comox Airport:
Leaving the Comox Airport you will turn right at the airport entrance onto Knight Road. Turn right at the intersection onto Military Row (drive approximately 2 kms). At the next stop sign, turn left onto Ryan Road. You will continue on Ryan Road (past Home Depot and down the hill), watching for signs indicating Nanaimo. Turn left just past the Superstore complex following the road to the 17th St Bridge, where you will turn right. While on the bridge, get into the left hand turning lanes. Turn left onto Cliffe Avenue, and continue to follow signage that will direct you to turn right onto the 29th St connector. After turning right onto the connector, continue until you see signs that direct you to Highway 19 southbound toward Nanaimo. Once on Highway # 19 South, watch for signs pointing you to Highway # 4 West toward Port Alberni/Pacific Rim National Park Reserve/Tofino, and exit in this direction.

From Seattle:
From Seattle there a number of options of travel to get to Tofino. You can take the passenger ferry ("The Victoria Clipper") from downtown Seattle to Victoria and rent a car. Use Directions from Victoria above. Total time about from ferry departure to Tofino is about 8 hours.
You can also take the Anacortes vehicle ferry to Swartz Bay (near Victoria), get on Highway 1 and follow directions from Victoria above. Total time from ferry departure to Tofino about 8 hours.
There is a vehicle ferry from Port Angeles to Victoria ("The Coho Black Ball"). Drive to Port Angeles (about 45 minutes to 1 hour), get on the ferry to Victoria and follow directions above. Total time about 9 hours when taking this route.
From Victoria you can take the Tofino Bus that has comfortable vans that pick you up in Victoria, or meet BC Ferries in Nanaimo, and almost anywhere in between!
